Over the last few days, I went to draw and paint Keraude beach on the harbour of Port D’orange- in St Pierre Quiberon(Brittany/France ) .
The sky, the sea and the light were constantly changing, and the tide was rising and falling. I always start several miniatures at the same time because painting takes time; there are several layers and they have to dry before the next layer can be applied.
Two of them, painted on tea bags, are now finished and framed . The third, on a small round tea bag, is still in progress, but the rain, wind and clouds from Hurricane Erin which is far away from here are preventing me from going there. In the photos you can see the work in progress and the finished result.
Portrait of a burmese kitten
process of creating a watercolour portraitof a burmese kitten on used tea bag. I can paint the portrait of your beloved pet in this technique

The photos of miniatures on tea bags don’t really capture the beauty of the painting because macro photography shows little folds, creases that you can’t see with the naked eye. It’s hard to see and show the delicacy of the lines /p>

Sketchbook, page 11, flight of seagulls
Black-headed gulls, the drawing is in HB pencil, on the right I have filtered the image with photoshop to see the pencil lines better

It’s easier to sketch seagulls when they don’t fly
