Over the last few days, I went to draw and paint Keraude beach on the harbour of Port D’orange- in St Pierre Quiberon(Brittany/France ) .
The sky, the sea and the light were constantly changing, and the tide was rising and falling. I always start several miniatures at the same time because painting takes time; there are several layers and they have to dry before the next layer can be applied.
Two of them, painted on tea bags, are now finished and framed . The third, on a small round tea bag, is still in progress, but the rain, wind and clouds from Hurricane Erin which is far away from here are preventing me from going there. In the photos you can see the work in progress and the finished result.
